Hardware Architect - Automotive (m/f/d)

Aufgaben:
- Define architectures for electronic control units and components
- Process customer requirements and requests from OEMs
- Increase development capacities for hardware and component development
- Development of the hardware architecture: conception and design of powerful and scalable hardware solutions
- Technology evaluation and component selection: selection of suitable components and evaluation of newer technologies
- Cross-team collaboration: coordination with departments such as software, system and mechanics
- Conduct tests, failure analyses, and performance optimization
- Documentation & quality assurance: preparation of technical documentation and compliance with quality standards
Qualifikationen:
- Degree in electrical engineering, automotive engineering or comparable - ideally with a focus on electronic systems in the vehicle
- Several years of experience in the development of automotive hardware, in particular control units, sensors, actuators, power distribution systems, as well as in high-speed design and signal integrity
- Knowledge of automotive-specific standards and norms, e.g. ISO 26262 (Functional Safety), Automotive SPICE, EMC requirements, CAN, LIN, FlexRay, Ethernet
- Experience with hardware development tools and simulation, e.g. Altium, Automotive SPICE
